Research indicates that the Early Childhood years are prime ones for the acquisition of a second language. Do you include foreign language in your program?

Many preschools offer a foreign language, but very few offer this at ALL age levels. At Fun and Friends we have created our own Spanish language program (and materials!) and this used in each classroom. Many of our staff are native Spanish speaking and we have taken advantage of this opportunity to introduce the language to our children through music and movement, art activities and games. Often times our teachers will reinforce the lessons by using Spanish words and phrases throughout the children’s day at our center.

Tuition & Fees

Fun & Friends is open year round, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 6:30 pm. Fees vary according to the child's age and the services provided and rates are set in August for the upcoming September. For your information, 2011-2012 rates are as follows:

Infants (6 weeks - 18 mos): $1,439 (sibling rate* is $1,367) Ratio: 1:4
Todfants# (18 mos - 30 mos): $1,335 (sibling rate* is $1,268) Ratio: 1:5
Toddler# (2.5 - 3.5 years): $1,281 (sibling rate* is $1,217) Ratio: 1:8
Preschool/Pre-K# (3.5-5yrs) : $1,120 (sibling rate* is $1,064) Ratio: 1:10

*sibling discount applies to older child(ren). Other fees include a one-time, nonrefundable registration fee of $75 per child to be paid at the time of registration. A security deposit of $200 is due on the first day of attendance and is refunded ONLY if notice of withdrawal is given one month in advance, starting on the first day of each month. A bi-annual activity fee of $100 is due on January 1st and July 1st (fee is prorated based on date of actual enrollment).

#tuition for these programs include weekly specialized movement classes designed to develop gross motor skills, balance and coordination and are presented by Fit 4 Fun, Inc. staff (www.golprograms.com).

PLEASE NOTE: We usually have a waitlist for all of our programs. Infants and Todfants programs are in great demand in the Metro DC area. Consider getting your name on the waitlist today!!
